21" O.A.K Honey-Badger Ride (2398gr)
Serial# : QC2571
The “Animal Style” O.A.K’s are the newest of my creative whims, and they are highly related to the Mountain Queen/Vagrant King series I took to Chicago at the beginning of this year (2025). They are on the medium weight range, they are gnarly, somewhat raw and vociferous. They feel untamed and yet still allow for clarity in its articulation. They showcase a rough terrain when it comes to its surface, both in their hammering patterns as in the still visible traces of raw bronze crust purposely left intact during the lathing process. They growl on the low end and sing on the high end. They are medium to low profile and do not favor darkness over brightness, or vice-versa; meaning, they feel a bit more classical in the range of their spread.
O.a.k (One-of-a-kind):
This line of instruments acts as my space for study and unbounded creativity. It is the continuation of my original non-serialized work, meaning, a cymbal line where anything goes.
It will most likely also act as the breeding grounds for any forthcoming new lines and designs as time moves forward, so keep your eyes open, one of these could one day become a regular act.
